In collaboration with our key stakeholders and extensive network of partners, we created a comprehensive suite of tools to help farmers and value chain actors work together to drive a transformation in the global rice sector. Our tools unlock access to global market access for small rice farmers who sustainably manage their land, with systems for measuring compliance and everything in between. Our tools are regularly updated via an open and transparent stakeholder consultation process, overseen by the SRP Technical Committee.

Enabling farm-level adoption of sustainable practices
SRP Standard for Sustainable Rice Cultivation
The SRP Standard is the world’s first voluntary sustainability standard for rice. Designed to be inclusive, it incentivizes farmers from smallholders to large producers to shift to adopt proven climate-smart, sustainable best agricultural practices. This tool includes 41 basic on-farm requirements, organized under eight themes.

The SRP Performance Indicators selects 12 composite indicators to allow farmers, partners and researchers to measure the sustainability impacts of any rice farming system, and is aligned with the SRP Standard

Designed to guarantee traceability, the SRP Chain of Custody Policy and Standard specifies requirements for all applicant organizations in regard to sourcing, processing, labeling claims, and on-pack use of the SRP-Verified label.

SRP Internal Management System Policy, Standard and Guidelines for Producer Groups
This tool includes a set of procedures and processes to guide producer groups towards effective and transparent organization and management of the group. It serves as a foundation for strong self-assessment and internal assessment.

The SRP Brand Manual sets out principles and policies to uphold the SRP brand value and provides guidance for use of the SRP Organizational logo and SRP-Verified Label.

SRP commits to impartial, consistent, and diligent processes for receiving and responding to complaints and grievances. All information will be handled confidentially by the SRP Secretariat. Further actions will be agreed and coordinated together with you.
